I have been tattooing for almost two years now and it's absolutely the best job in the world. I get to do art, my lifelong passion, while giving people body mods that draw them compliments for life. It really is a rewarding job. So one could imagine the devastation I experienced after I began to suffer from nerve pain that progressively got worse. I tried everything to stop it from progressing, including changing up my tattoo machine multiple times, grip sizes, hand positions, creams, hand stretches, exercise, vitamins, wrist wraps and braces, massage therapy and doctor appointments.
I have finally made the decision that in order to prolong my tattooing career, I have no choice but to slow down and space out my bookings. I am physically unable to continue the high volume, fast pace and long hours I'd put in at Stay True tattoo studio. I will always be grateful for the opportunity that they gave me in seeing my potential and getting me going in my tattooing career. I was a baby bird and now I am flying out of the nest!
Thanks to Stay True, I have built up so much knowledge and experience and I have been incredibly successful. I've found my footing and built up a decent clientele base. I've even started my own art business and website. Big shout out to the owners for teaching and guiding me to succeed. I am forever grateful! And the established artists there have really made an impact on me as well. I couldn't have done it without y'all!!
Now I am happy to announce the next chapter in my story. I have joined Emerald Empire Tattoo Studio. Here, I will work at a pace that is conducive to my health limitations. I am so honored to b
e here! Byron, found me 8 years ago when he was opening this magnificent tattoo studio. He commissioned some artwork from me long before being a tattoo artist had even crossed my mind. Now, 8 years later my art is still proudly displayed amongst many beautiful art pieces from other local artists. I feel as if it has come full circle with me working here now.
